Resurrection means to be brought up from the dead, but another meaning is “stand on your feet again.” When your memories outweigh your dreams, a resurrection needs to take place.

Jesus is the one who will stand us up on our feet and put us on solid ground. Christ gave us zoe life—redemption, forgiveness of sins, bodily healing, deliverance, and being raised to new life. We will never die. Our mortal body will, but our spirit will live eternally with God in heaven.

But what of those who reject Christ?
