God Puts Us in a Place for Others

Even when it seems like God has forgotten us, He has put us in the right place, at the right time, for the right people. We need to be ready with our testimony.

Fear Not!

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine” (Isaiah 43:1 NKJV).

God actually commands us not to fear or worry. The phrase “fear not” is used at least 80 times in the Bible, most likely because He knows the enemy uses fear to decrease our hope and limit our victories.

Let a Thankful Heart Dwell in You

by Sandy Boatright

heart mobile

I was a worrier until God delivered me through His Word.

I would pay my rent and then the next minute I was again worrying about next month’s rent. I rarely had the peace of God. I struggled with the responsibility of everything, and instead of giving thanks to God, believing He would take care of me, I carried the worry of this world.

I was once blessed with a new queen size mattress, but I had no sheets to fit. I went to the TG&Y store and found some pretty peach floral sheets. Yes, I purchased them, but by the time I walked from the store to the car, I was burdened down with guilt and questioning why I spent the money.

Finally the Lord spoke to me and He said, “You let worry rob you of the gifts that I give. Let a thankful heart dwell in you. Don’t allow guilt to dwell in you. I have set you free, now walk in that freedom.”

The Scripture my Father God uses is Matthew 6:24-34, KJV:

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

“Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

“And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

“And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

“Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

“(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

A special message from the Lord

TRANSCRIPT:

Message: I saw a father, and he had his hand out, and he was holding the hand of his child. As he walked along all of a sudden that child pulled its hand away. It wanted to go its own way and run away. His desire was that that child would stay close because there’s a lot of things, evil things, out there to pull us away. He wants us to come close so he can protect us because he loves us so much.

Don’t pull away like a child. Stay close and keep a hold of the Father’s hand. He’s going to lead you through times of troubles. He’s going to lead you through and He’s going to give you victory. The victory that you desire in your heart, that’s what He desires for His children. So stay close to your Father. He loves you so much. He has good things in store for you.

Pastor’s words: Let’s worship the Lord. Worthy. Stay close to the Father. Isn’t that true? I just had that dream last night, by the way, if you want to know the truth, of a little child just pulling away and running away. And we couldn’t find the child because it should have stayed close. And we should have kept our hand on it.

Listen, stay close to the Father. Man, He’s got a hold of you. And I know that you think sometimes He’s not here, but He has never forsaken you, nor me, nor will he ever leave us. Amen. Can you say amen to that?

I like this part that Paul said to Timothy. He said, “Timothy, when you’re faithless, God remains faithful.” John says in 1 John, listen what he said, he said, “When your heart deceives you, God is greater than your heart.” How about that?

We like every coming from the heart, but sometimes the heart can deceive us. Or those emotions and feelings can deceive us. But God’s is greater than that. Someone say amen to that.

Important Keys

Key and a vine of ivy on a wooden floor.

The keys to patience are acceptance and faith.

Accept things as they are and look realistically at the world around you.

Have faith in yourself and in the direction you have chosen. Ask the Lord for wisdom and guidance as you journey along life’s trail.

If you do not like things as they are, ask the Lord to change you or them.

Parable of the Fig Tree

Image by Vane Monte from Pixabay

In Matthew 24:32-36, Jesus tells us to learn from the fig tree. The tree represents Christ. When people come to you, are you empty? You have no fruit to share. You are not prepared to give of the wisdom of the Kingdom of God.

We need to be prepared when we meet needy people. They could be those at your work, on the street, at the store, or anyone in your family. Please be filled up and ready to give, not empty with no Word from the Lord.

We are that fig tree, as the Kingdom of God is within us. Recognize that He is near, for we do not know the day or the hour He will be returning. ~Pastor Larry Gray, June 2, 2019

Believe the Report of the Lord

“Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?” Isaiah 53:1 NKJV

We believe the report of the Lord.

Plunge in today and be made complete. Jesus has the face of us.

We act like Him. We are the only Jesus that some people will ever see. ~ Pastor Bill Grace, Sunday, May 26, 2019

Keeping Score?

scoreboard
Image by F. Muhammad from Pixabay

You’re not to keep score! So many of My children feel like they have let Me down–not done anything to please Me. The only way to let Me down is to not finish the race.

Keep walking the path before you–and it will lead you exactly where I want you to be.

Don’t rely on feel good score cards. Just because something feels good, doesn’t necessarily mean it is good or that it is My plan for you.

My Peace is always what should lead you. Don’t go there if you don’t sense My Peace in your heart.

Don’t keep score–for that usually means that you’re looking at your past. Today is where you live.

Rejoice that your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. That is the only score card you’ll ever need!

You are Mine–always.

Blessed Are They

“Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.” Psalm 119:2 KJV

We all want to be blessed beyond measure. This verse clearly states the way we may be assured of our blessings.

His testimonies are in His Word, and He expects His children to follow His rules, just as we expect our children to know and obey our regulations at all times.

He wants us to love Him with our entire heart.

What Is on Your Banner?

Banners will reveal what is important to you. They will speak out loud and show what you’re passionate about. A banner will demand a response from you. Do you agree with its message?

Words printed on a tee-shirt may say what team you favor. A sign held up by a homeless person may reveal his need and plea for your help. A billboard hopes to plant an idea in you.

There are many messages that are competing for your attention. It is your choice what you focus on. What you agree with.

Let My Word write on the banner of your heart. May My love be etched in your mind, your life, that all others know who you belong to. When My children agree with Me, a banner is flying high for all to see.

Your faith is your banner. It’s a sign for all to see and follow.

Wave it high.
