Tear Down the Idols

Pastor Gray exhorts the church to tear down their idols.

Second Timothy 3:1 warns that perilous times will come, and that there will be a great falling away of the church. But 2 Thessalonians 2:3 encourages us to let no man deceive you. We can stand strong in the peril to come.

Examine your life and tear down the idols that are there that “the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Come Out of Babylon

Pastor Mark Linder of The Dwelling Place, Florence, Alabama, opens a special Simply Jesus weekend with calling us to come out of Babylon.

God is gracious and merciful. He is also holy and just. Babylon, the world, would tell you your pleasure is more important than your purpose. But no, it is time to pull down the idols in the church and return to the fear of the Lord.
